Along with several other film and television projects in development, the Justice League actress will produce the upcoming Hedy Lamarr biopic miniseries tracing the actress from pre-war Europe to her technical breakthroughs and eventual seclusion in the United States.
Gadot’s proposed project was in the works at Showtime but wasn’t given the green light for a full series. However, Apple later acquired the rights and gave the go-ahead for eight episodes. The actress will portray a historical figure in the miniseries. Apart from this, she has been busy with another biopic film revolving around Irena Sendler, a World War II humanitarian. Gadot is slated to produce and act in the movie as well. Known for her portrayal of Wonder Woman in DC movies, she recently reprised her role in Wonder Woman 1984, which hit theaters in December. Additionally, she will be seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the director’s cut miniseries set to debut in March.
